One early winter morning , I had been to a lake near my house . These little grebes were swimming in a single file , and I thought it would make for a interesting composition .

Rakesh, good show of the DOF effect, and the focussed grebe has given you a pleasing pose. You have a dust bunny just above your signature, and I feel this needs some CW rotaion.

Rakesh, I also like it. the in focus grebe has nice light and HA. the other two being in shade has helped a lot. Well seen. You can use the reflection of the nearest bird to correct the rotation. Dont go by the ripples which are angled.

Hi Rakesh, shot doesn't really work for me but that's fine. I do see some dust spots right at top and bottom (just above your name) and agree CW rotation. I would also remove the reeds in water on the right.

Very interesting and new perspective here. It works b/c the light is shining right on the grebe which is in focus. Agree on the rotation.

Love the spotlight effect on the one in the center. Light looks warm and gorgeous.
Well seen and executed. Agree with the need for CW rotation. Well done!
