    We have been fortunate to have many of these stop by here on their way back north. They're very fastidious ducks and spend lots of time diving, dipping and preening. I've enjoyed watching them, and love the shape of their heads, but I still think they should be called ring-billed ducks!

    Nice image Sharon, Like how you have the subject set off in the frame. I think the image would be improved by a simple curves adj to boost contrast and also some more sharpening.
