Default Theme: Coming in for a Look

Following up on my Vulture image, this Osprey came in for a look before landing in his nest.
I did a tight crop on purpose, Used the Topaz Spicify effect, then Topaz Clean..then framed.
I left in the lines between the end feathers to give it a sense of movement.

Shift is over in 1 hour, come September when the students arrive it starts getting busy again but at least this shift I passed a few hours working on images.

Sue and I are off to Germany, Italy and France, I'll be chasing the Corncrake again and Sue will be competing at the World Karate Championships in Karlsruhe, Germany.

I hope to bring back many fine photos.

Have a good August, I'll keep track when I can..see you all in September

    Paul

Paul, Awesome capture and really nice filtering. I might try to eliminate the halos around the bird if it were mine. Have a fantastic trip and I look forward to seeing your images!!

Nice capture, crop & framing, Paul! I do see some small dark spots around the upper edges of the wings. Minor cleanup and worth the effort for a nice image IMHO. Have a safe & GREAT Trip.

    What perfectly arrayed wings!

I had to google corncrake. I have no doubt you will find one. Look forward to your corncrake posts.
