    This is an African mask crab spider Synema sp (Crab spider family: Thomisidae) taken in my brother in laws garden.

    Nice image, sharp and details are good. especially the contrast of spider and purple flower.

    Hey Jason,
    The perch really sets of the spider and the DOF and sharpness are excellent! I was going to recommend darkening or cloning in the LLC the same dark purple tone as above it......but it is not a deal breaker and very minimal to the overall appeal and impact of this. I think you really did a great job on this!

    Hi Jason. This is a cool-looking crab spider on a very colorful flower. I like the head-on view and the low shooting angle. Good sharpness and DOF, and the light is very well handled with a minimum of specular highlights. Very well done!

    Very nice image excellent detail. Usually I like a little more space around the subject to get a bit of an impression of the environment but I think you have made the correct choice on this one.
