    Love this one, Grace!

Three perfect head angles and catch lights, open bill, parent/chick interaction, fish, great exposure, and tack sharp ... you've got it all!

Pano crop works really well but if you have any more of the adult, I think it would be nice to see the entire leg and cut it off just behind it.
But that would be a minor improvement to a wonderful image!

I love this one, Grace. I like Mike just wish for the adult's legs. Nice that you had them on the same plane and that you have the catch and the chick's open beak. What a great story!!!

Thanks, Mike, Marina, and Jason. That makes four of us that wish for more of the adult's leg. Too much lens so I tried to make what I had work as this happens so fast. I played around with cropping in front of the leg but that just looks weird.

Wow, Grace, this is splendid. I love the look of eager anticipation on the second chick. Exposure, sharpness, behavior, all fantastic. You couldn't have planned it any better! Great work.

Grace, this is one fine image. Tack sharp, nicely exposed, and what a story! Even got the fish to face the right direction. Big congratulations on this one!

Not much to comment on, except just about as good a parent/chick interaction as you can get.
    Exposure, sharpness, pose. just great.

I love this! Interestingly, colours look completely off on my computer and when viewed in Photoshop I can see it was saved as ProPhoto RGB rather than sRGB.

What an awesome interaction you got here!! Too bad about the leg, but the intimacy and behaviour overshadows that.

Ofer, I'm glad you mention a colour issue as this was my first thought too! Viewing it in PS looks much better (less greenish and more vivid). For those of you browsing a non colour-managed web browser (i.e. Win Explorer) this is what the image should look like once converted to sRGB for web presentation:

Lots of whites in this image and you handled them very well. I did not notice the leg until pointed out. Why did I not notice ? Because the subject is the adult head -fish and hungry young ones. Nice capture of this action.

Thanks everyone for your comments, Ofer and Daniel for catching the color space error.

Grace, one heck of a shot. it is excellent on so many levels...hard to begin :-) what i like the most is the separation between each bird and the pose of the chick who is going to get the fish. Such a hard shot to pull off.

Does not get better than this. How many fish did you need to offer to get everyone looking at you. I might have given a little more at the bottom but what do I know! Wonderful!!!!
