1D Mark IV, Canon 600 f4, x1.4, 1/2000, f9, iso 800, handheld
Another one I got in Broome WA a couple of days ago. I like how you can see the spurs on the wings which are this bird's weapon.

Impressive Ofer, hand holding the 600! Oh, and the image is great too! Good exposure with nice lighting. I might be tempted to clean up the bill just a bit (although I don't have a good enough view to determine exactly what is on it). Interesting information regarding the spurs.
Cool looking bird and an excellent flight shot, Ofer. Nice angle, eye contact and wing position.
Sharp as can be and nice flight down wing pose.
Odd looking bird, nice to see a not so common (at least to me)
bird in flight.

awesome image Ofer. having played wit the 600 for one weekend, I am amazed that you can handhold it to produce this IF image @ 80% FF. Is the right wing and body more in focus than the left wing or is it a bit of motion blur? Good work, as always. Very impressive!

Very nice presentation of the bird while the sky color looks unnatural.
Excellent light, details and bird angle. Love the eye contact and the wings down posture. Nice to see the spurs. Clean bill would have been nice, but hey, this is nature.
Excellent work handholding that heavy lens. The result is fantastic!
I love the wing position and detail. Good job!

Excellent Ofer sharp and a great pose! good job with handholding

Great exp and wing position...Pops nicely from the blue sky BG
very nice Ofer, good angle of this nice bird, them spurs are neat, and like the yellow wattles hanging down, wish I could afford to hand hold a 600mm cannon lens, well done.
Very similar to our Wattled Lapwing. Good flying posture, together with the show of the spurs. Good exposure throughout too.
