    Default Red-necked Grebes

I photographed these grebes in Anchorage last May.
This was part of a tour organized by the local Audubon Society which also included areas around Nome.

There were several pairs of grebes at this location. They would defend their territory
and start calling as soon as another grebe got too close.

    C&C are welcome.

An impressive behaviour shot!! Love the low angle and calling pose - awesome job! Maybe a bit off the top.

A super capture, Luis, esp getting both of them in the frame. Love the low angle and how soft and smooth the water looks. It's nice that you were able to capture them facing each other and with the calling pose as well.

Great luck to have such symmetry. Makes for a very appealing image with exceptional clarity. Both birds with beaks open is awesome to boot.
