    I very nice and unique look at a great blue heron. I myself would not change anything, the crop is good, the background is great.

    Love how the water looks like glass here and how the heron is dragging his foot causing the water spray. Those things add quite a bit of interest to a photograph that would otherwise not be as special b/c of a not so terrific light angle. I really like this capture and the different perspective it offers.

    What I like most about this image is the vegetation in the near right third of the image. Great wing action in the heron while its head appears much too streamlined and a little overexposed. Tough shot while trying to get the underwings lighter. The splash is very well done with a nice reflection in the water.

    Light make this shot very interesting, love the water splash and low angle.
