OMG...I can't keep my hands off PB . I added canvas to the top and left side, a couple of rounds in PB, changing the sliding scales & opacity, erasing this & that, then off to Topaz buz sim, and some shadow/highlights & curves in PS.

    C & C very welcome

Hi Nancy, this is excellent and I can tell you PB is very addictive! I love the effect on the under-wing primaries and on the face. I typically don't like pb on bg but in this case with simplify it looks great and provides depth to the image. Wonderful flying pose although would have wished for just a bit of head turn but still an excellent base image. TFS.

Hi Nancy, Agree with Indranil's comments. The effect of PB on that foreground wing is awesome. Nice flight shot.

Nancy, It looks like you are having a blast with PB. Nice job with the multiple filtering. Great comments above. I'm really looking forward to more-I'll bet one of your zebra shots would look great w/ the PB oil painting filter.

Hi Nancy, and welcome to PBA, Pixel Benders Anonymous... It is hard to step away from the computer when you can play with this filter! I really like the effect and colors, looks great. I am fascinated by owls and love that you got a flight shot. Nicely done!

We have to add that to the acronym or shortcut list Kerry! PBA!
    Hey Nancy,
looks like you are really enjoying PB! I think the effect worked very well.....the HAP are everywhere......even in here but it is a VG observation by them. A head turn would have put it over the top!

Thank you all! I guess I need to sign up for those PBA meetings ! This owl watched me creep closer through dry, scratchy brush for over a half hour and then flew away without so much as a head turn. I think he landed somewhere and laughed .

Nancy, the PB effect on the wings and bg is fantastic. The wings look like tortoiseshell to me. I've been loving everyone's PB images but my computer wasn't up to the task so I just ordered a new computer and can hardly wait to try it out

Nancy, I like the soft, impressionistic PB / Topaz treatment and great IF base image. You have such a great variety of subjects to work with up in the mountains, looks like you are having fun exploring new creative possibilities.
