That's a beauty.. great habitat and very nice job on the exposure. Love the layers of colors.

What a bird! Nicely exposed, with great layered background/foreground. I might be tempted to tone down a few of the highlights on the bill.

Great job on catching this stork in what appears to be bright conditions. The bird is exposed beautifully and I too love the layers and color strokes in the background. I don't mind the highlights on the bill because your eye saw those same highlights I'm sure. Good job.

What a neat bird! I love the plumage on the wing...very neat and well brought out by your photograph. Great comp and sense of habitat. I just wish the brighter downward curved branch behind the legs wasn't there. Very well done!

Great light angle to keep all of the dark aspects of the bird highlighted. Especially like the iridescence. Had you considered toning down the reflection on the bird's bill? The raised leg is a bonus and find the crop very appealing.

Thanks for all comments and suggestions I personally think that toning down the hightlights will look odd as they are blown out due to water and wouldn't be able to recover them.

Hey Viv, this is simply stunning. I like how the light has brought out the iridescence on the wing, and the low angle perspective works really well. You have nailed the exposure too. Killer BG.

Lovely image Vivaldo. Nice habitat, bg, pose and exposure. The iridescence in the feathers is so nicely captured. Well done!
