We all wish for certain things to happen that will make an almost perfect image or scene but that the joy of wildlife and the bush, just got to keep trying

Dumay - I like the curves of this and the dripping water. The texture of the trunk comes through nicely. Not sure if you cropped this at all but I would have liked the top edge of the head to be complete rather than slightly cut off.

Well seen & capture Dumay, love the rich reddy orange BKG. Good DOF with excellent detail, however I am with Rachel about the slightly clipped head. Because of the depth of detail, for me, this now brings up a question, you have applied NR to the BKG, however perhaps, albeit a pain, to me the water droplets should also be sharper as per the elephant as it's on the same plane. Again, not a deal breaker, or distracting to the image, but just a slow process to pop them back in on the mask, WDYT?

Lovely light and details here Dumay. Good points raised, I agree on the clipped head at the top being a (small) issue and the droplets should indeed be a tad sharper as Steve points out. Be interesting to hear your workflow on the BG as that might point us in the right direction on how to correct...still, small nits, but that's how we all learn here...

IQ looks pretty good and I like the contrast of colors between the subject and BG. Also really like the curves of the trunk and the texture of the skin.

Great texture! Like the drops of water and the red background.
