    Default Cormorant..... cooling off

From the Kayak, this guy was a nice surprise at the lake.

Well exposed for the dark feathers. As a result, it's showing nice details.

Hi Noell -- As a fellow yak photographer, I'm impressed. I especially love the emerald eyes on this one. Great angle and cool background. Like.

Great colours, and well done on the exposure...the blacks look good. I like the "panting" pose, perch, and overall BG. The darker area in front of the subject catches my eye a bit...borrowing some brighter greens via the clone stamp at around 30% opacity should work well for that (same for top left area). I would also eliminate the white speck near the thigh. Super job from the kayak!!

    I agree 100 percent!!

I actually paddled a bit this time since he was so tolerant of me to find a nice spot with a better BG. This was the best of angles and still BG looks so busy. This seems to be his favored spot since he has been there every day.

I guess if I played a bit I could fix it

Thanks Danny, you know the challenges the kayak brings but the payoffs are so rewarding.

    Thanks Daniel,

I saw the white spot after I had posted it

I will eliminate the dark spot as well as try to blur the BG more.
