    I love this thing!!!!
We have more disagreements in our critique forums over exposure and blown whites than about anything else.
Most of the time the problem is uncalibrated monitors or laptops being viewed at the wrong angle.

This little gadget makes a huge difference for me. I'm much more comfortable editing images and offering critiques with my laptop.

"The Acratech Viewing Angle Gauge ensures the correct viewing angle on your laptop when trying to achieve true accuracy for color and brightness. Durable aluminum construction prevents bending or breaking. Excellent for photographers on-the-go, who need to know that the changes they are making will translate properly to the final image."

I purchased mine from Chris at Outdoor Photo gear.

    Default Acratech Viewing Angle Guage

Here's a new inexpensive toy to attach to your laptop screen for correct viewing angle. Having the screen horizontal, apparently, is not the correct angle!

I was given one as a present; attached; certainly changes how the images NOW appear on my screen. Much more saturation which might answer why I am constantly told my images are too saturated !

If you spend the $15, tell us what you think.

"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.

Interesting -- I've never heard of anything like this. Do all screens require the same angle??

I bought one and forgot about it. After seeing James post, I pulled it out and installed it. It seems to work fine, We'll see how it stands up after a few road trips.

I have had one since they were introduced. Really works great and is easily removed for travel.

I just ordered one, as the laptop I'm currently using suffers terribly when you look at it even slightly off perpendic
