This morning I ventured up to Tiny Marsh near Barrie, Ontario hoping for sunrise photos - not a cloud in the sky. Yuck! After grabbing a handful of pre-dawn wetland images I ventured over to the boardwalk trail to see what the local population of frogs was doing. There are many Leopard Frogs at this location and this morning there was lots of young frogs hopping around after completing their metamorphosis. This guy is rather small at only about an inch maybe a little more. I find Leopard Frogs to be a challenge as they don't sit still for long and they don't usually let you get in close.
This image was handheld using my Nikon 105mm micro lens and SB400 on homemade flash bracket.
Applied Fractalius using the 'Glow 100" preset and then masked back in various sections of the photo at varying percentages and then final tweaking in Viveza. Before running the image through Fractalius I did a ton of cloning for flash generated highlights.
Look forward to comments.
