    Default Blue eye shadow.

I saw this 3 inch long Anole hunting on a plant at Brazos Bend SP, Texas and made a few photos. This one shows the blue color around the eye that I've never noticed before. It was looking down when I pressed the shutter. F/5.6 gave me a very shallow DOF, but I liked the detail of the scales on top of the head. Made with Nikon D80, Tamron AF 180/3.5 Macro lens on a tripod in natural light. F/5.6@125 ISO 200. PP NX2

Hi Jim, I like the details on top of the head too. Cool blue eye. Did you enhance the blur to the bottom of the image?

Cool perspective. Love the blue and green coloring. Shallow DOF makes it like like his bottom half is under water.

No it is a result of the f stop I was using and the little guy may have been moving a little bit too I'm not sure. I did crop a little and rotate the image to a vertical format....Thanks for the comment!

    Hey Jim,
I really like the effect on the head but the diagonal greyish line in the LLC I find distracting. I know it is probably a leg.....but I would eliminate it and blend it with the green. Just some food for thought.
