Another from my yard. Taken during the first rays of sun hitting the meadow. I have to admit, I sit on my deck at 5:30 am every morning and enjoy my coffee with my camera by my side.

    Canon 1D mark IV, Canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS @ 200mm, 1/1000, f4, exp. comp. +1/3, ISO 1250.

    C & C most welcome.

Nancy - what I wouldn't give to enjoy a morning routine like you have
Love the details and light on this deer. Colour-wise there seems to be a slight magenta/cyan cast to the image - would expect more of a golden dawn glow?
A little more head-turn towards you would've been nice.

    An enviable routine Nancy!
Like the lighting here, could use a touch warming up with that slight cast as Morkel has mentioned.

Thank you. I just recalibrated my monitor and hopefully have removed the magenta cast that has been troubling me.
