I used PB spherize on the top 60% or so of the image, kinda made it look like it was wearing a tutu! Then I used Topaz Clean and Topaz Detail with blend modes and then Detail again on the combined layers and sharpened. The spherize filter made it a little fuzzy in that part.

I like the image overall...I'd like to seen a LITTLE more length to the body, and I'd be tempted to do something with the water drop (?) just to the left of the leg..for some reason that really draws my eye to it in the image...and maybe sharpen the head just a bit? Nicely done...I wouldn't have thought to use Spherize in this way! Very creative.

Thanks John! I did sharpen the image twice and again on the eye in addition to Topaz Detail.

Good effect, I may have copied the original eye back in. OOTB thinking for sure.

Judy, It does look like it's wearing a tutu. Seems just a bit tight but that may have been your intention. Something different and like Paul said good OOTB thinking!

Thanks for the comments. I was really just playing and I know it has some problems. Maybe I'll try another one before the deadline.

    Hey Judy,
I really like the effects on the head but no so much on the body. You have some good advice on some tweaks for the next one....so looking forward to it!
