Excellent landing pose, I wish it was 1024 pixel wide.

Troy, Nice landing pose and good detail on the eagle. I would shift the eagle more to the middle and leave more space left and less on the right.

Another vote for 1024 wide, great landing pose, might benefit with a touch of contrast boost.

I love this landing pose, Troy, but I am pretty confident you have better ones in your files. Since he is landing on the lower branch, the upper branch is a tad distracting right in front of his face. I also feel that the bird's right wing is not optimum. I do love the upstretched wing and the outstretched legs and talons.

Great landing pose and excellent underwing detail!

I'm seeing a bit of a green cast.

Good image Troy, but I agree with Clemens' comp suggestion (too much room at right, not enough at left). The bit of wing extending below the tail looks odd. Good job with the exposure, and details look good as posted.

Very nice image. I am curious if the eagle was landing or trying to break the limb for nesting materials. I've seen Ospreys do this.

Richard, it was a landing pose. I was struggling placing the bird in the frame. I wish right wing was more visible.
