    Default Skim Little Skimmer

    The babies are now skimming. I like this one for splashing water around the beak and the nice eye contact.
    Canon 1DMIII 300 mm 2.8 L lens
    ISO 400 7.1@ 1/2500 HH
    Added canvas ,sharpening small crop.

    Excellent capture. This little guy is no doubt learning the survival ropes. I really like this shot.

    Love the light, the water spray, the lit up underwing and the trail. You did a good job adding canvas b/c I can't tell where you did it. Since you have already done some altering to this image, I think I would also clean up some of the white "spots" up top to give it a cleaner look. Great action/behavior captured here, and you have nice details and exposure.

    Hey Marina .thanks for the suggestion and it did cross my mind but there is so much of it I wasn't sure where to begin so I decided to leave it and like it as part of the wave reflection. I'll take another look though.

    Really nice pic! I was there last Wednesday and was amazed at how much growth had occurred in one month. Was also glad to see how many had survived.
