This is a very nice portrait. I like the yellow in the BG and the open beak. I wish for a bit more head turn so that there was no shadow. I am unsure vas to what the gren linear area on back among the grey feathers is? eye is lovely.

I like this alot. The detail is great as is the light. The yellow in the bg brings out the yellow in the bird. A completely yellow bg would have been great. I see a small dust spot upper left side.

Karl -- This one is very easy on the eyes and compelling as well.....made me take a long look and that's what it is all about.

Karl, nice portrait with the open bill and yellow bkgd. I do feel that the red is oversaturated. I would also get rid of the highlights on the lower bill and tonque. There is a slight blue cast on the shadow edges on the white.
