Took this at the botanic gardens - some type of Aloe or Agave plant. Experimented with Topaz Detail, Adjust and PB Oil, added clouds to BG with CS5/filters/render/clouds.

Brendan, I really like this one. Wild colors and flow. I like the cloud render to the BG.

Brendan, I'm pretty sure this is an agave, or century plant. Amazing job with the colors and detail. Love the filter work! I've always been a fan of "render | clouds".

    Hey Brendan,
I'll go against the crowd here but while I absolutely love the agave.....I'm not loving the BG as for my tastes it is competing with the Agave. Make sense? I think that agave on any number of BG's will work.....so very nice job on the Agave.....just the BG isn't my favorite but as you can see....I am in the minority!

Brendan, I love the filtering and the colors and the bg but I kind of agree with Roman. Maybe greener blue clouds would be nice - I think the clouds are just a little dull for such a vibrant image but that is just my opinion.

Brendan, I'll be a third voice on the background...I LOVE the agave plant and your work on it, but I'm not a fan of the background as it currently is...what about doing a Gaussian blur on the background to blend/fuse the colors? Just a thought...

Thanks everyone, much appreciated! Roman, Cheryl & John, I really didn't experiment to much with BG, so I think it is worth exploring some more. Let me see what I can come up with.
