Bullfinch
Pyrrhula pyrrhula
in Valla forrest, Linköping, Sweden.
I cloned out a few twigs to the right and cropped for composition.

Hi,
Such a nice image with beautiful colors and a very nice composition. I would add a little more sharpening, but that's about it!

I agree about the sharpening. Also, the BG is a little too bright for me; it tends to overpower the bird. Pretty bird!
Thanks Maxis and Doug,
Often wildlife photographers suggest that I'm too conservative with my sharpening but then photographers of other genres often critique that I'm too aggressive... I'm using two different computers and the screens differ a bit. Maybe that's the reason?
Cheers, Jens.
Very nice pose and light. I agree on the sharpening and would make it a vertical crop by cropping off the left and right and add a bit top and bottom.
