    Default Cheetahs in Colour

This one's for Grant. The colour version of the monochrome I posted earlier this week. I like this as well, showing the typical Kalahari colours in late afternoon light.
This was a gang of 3 brothers who tried to stalk a springbok but gave themselves away and at this point were skulking off to find a spot to spend a hungry night.

I have to say I prefer the B&W one but maybe because something about the colors in this one are not quite right.. The colors look a bit cool, like a magenta or violet cast. I would expect Kgalagadi colors in the afternoon to be a lot warmer.

Nice Morkel, def looks like there is a slight magenta cast and think i might prefer the original pano crop you had, as below also warmed slightly and removed magenta cast??

    Thanks Dumay and Brendon.

Dumay - I posted from the laptop (remind me not to do that again ) so excuse the colours. It was slightly overcast with a hint of sun providing the catchlights.

Brendon - great work on the repost.

I like this image because they are somewhat obscured by the grasses but not by too much. I didn't mind the tones and in fact prefer the op (sorry Brendon) as I feel the repost is a little bright. My only distraction with the image is the biright area in the middle BG

I think this is the best version of the ones you've posted although I do see a slight color cast as well. I like the BG "pathway" of the full post.
