    Default High Key Killdeer

From an overcast day at the beach with not much action. This juvenile Killdeer posed nicely amidst some low grass on the beach.

Finally starting to make my web jpegs bigger. 750 pixels doesn't cut it anymore.

Great shot. Love it. If anything, the OOF flower under the belly could go, but hey, it is perfect enough as is.

Beautiful low angle shot. The flower in the left corner is a great touch.

An absolute cracker of an image. I love the flower on the left. The exposure is excellent and nice low angle. I would clone out the flower under the belly if you are not against cloning things out.

Beautiful! I love the flower at left, and like the others I would eliminate the OOF one under the belly. There is the impression the image could use slight CCW rotation, and I would crop out about half the OOF FG. Exposure, details, setting look great...I even like the filaments along the tail!

Very nice IQ and shooting angle. The environment makes the image for me. I think the level looks fine to me. There is just that section on the right which puts the sand in focus where the ground dips may give the feel that the ground is not level, but in fact it is.

Love the habitat greens and nice low angle. Great pastel softness to the environment.
