Excellent! Love the trails, sharpness, and intent expression. I could see a crop with more room in front and below.

    Looking forward to more!

Gail, nice and sharp image. Agree with Aidan on the space around at front and bottom. Would also like to see a bit more punch to the image and have the colors pop.

    Hi Clemens and Aidan,
I took your advice and added more room to the front and added some vibrance and 2 points of black to the picture to try and get it to pop. Unfortunately, I am not skilled enough to add more canvas on the bottom as the reflection is impossible to replicate properly. Do you like this better?

Excellent flight shot, Gail. Love the wing position, the intens look and the tail trailing in the water is great.
The repost might be a little better but the original was pretty good.

You absolutely captured the magic moment with this shot.

That is so cool!! I love the "tail trail" (great title BTW). Too bad you hadn't zoomed wider as the comp is tight, but you certainly got the essence of the moment here. I like the punched up colours of the repost.

That's an improvement in punch. Much better. The reflection is difficult. As Daniel said: zoom wider!

Super timing with great detail! A lower angle might have added, but this remains awesome!

Great capture. Love the tail trail - I've never seen this captured before. Nicely exposed; good comments above re comp.
