You see a lot of Civil War re-enactors who don't really look like that came out of the 1860's. I think this gentleman, in a Union Captain's uniform, really looks the part! I love the sideburns, ala General Burnside!

Very nicely done! I agree with Christopher that a bit of "aging" would take this even further into the reality zone. You did a great job on the "painting" technique!
