    EOS-1D Mk IV, 500mm f/4L IS + 1.4x II, 1/1250, f/7.1, ISO 1600
    Skimmer ground pod with Wimberley
    About 70% of Full Frame (sliver off of the left and then cropped from top for pano)

    There was some late season mating activity last week on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

    Mike, great action and pose captured here. Good details, light and background. Love the fish sticking out. Hard work for the female!

    Nice interaction capture, Mike, like the low angle and pano crop works well. Love that the female is chowing down while the male is making it count! Well done!

    What a shot, Mike. terrific low angle, whites, comp. and the moment. Incredible action. Good job in getting parallel.

    I am wondering if a round of USM on the birds will make it even better.

    technically superb shot. The low angle and the fish in the mouth really make this an unusual shot.

    Terrific image. I love that love angle and the action portrayed. My only suggestion would be to increase the contrast a bit.
