Turtle season is over in october the best time to see them nesting at least on the East coast is April thru June and if you walk the beaches at first light from August thru September you might see a few straggler hatchlings.

Don Lacy is spot on here. We were shooting coral cove in jupiter two weeks ago, and found two newly hatched babies early am. It was hard too watch them struggle too the very Rough sea. Hopefully they made it!!! After the near miss by hurricane Irene, i'm hearing that we have lost a lot of the nests that were late hatchers!

Oct is pretty late, but Green turtles are still nesting on the East Coast but not in large numbers. Try the Archie Carr Reserve or Barrier Island center in Melbourne. Good luck.
