    it's the bay.

It was an awesome day on the bay, nice low rollers, no breakers.

I used PS CS5 HDR Toning from the adjustment menu, added some blur to the foreground and jacked up the red on the ship.

Wild cloud formation, I almost feel sorry for the boat with the oncoming storm. Even though its centered, I like the composition..very sharp...Well done

    Nice image and application, Capt.

Like the colors with the red boat centered under the high clouds. Looks like a nice ride, before the storm.

Hope you got in before the storm broke. We had a real downpour here in Homosassa today. One of the biggest this season... so far.

That is an awesome cloud! I like the overall perspective with the boat. Beautiful reflection as well as the fg color with the addition of blur. Initially I was in two mind about the red... but after looking at it for a while, it is totally believable with sun behind you. Nicely processed.

Man, this is cool. love the blue colors. The contrast between the blue and grey water reflections are nice. Good textures. I might normally wish that boat were not so centered, but with the cloud formation above, I think it works cool the way it is................

James, I like the center comp and the blur on the bottom is lovely. This reminds me of the effect of the flood filter,. Nicely done.

    Hey James,
I love the cloud and water......OK with the centered boat......but not loving the entire sky! No, it's not my unusual love of the crop tool that is making me say this.....but crop down to about 1/2 inch above the wispy cloud (just above the mainn storm cloud....in line with boat) and eliminate the con trail looking white cloud LHS......then it works for me!
PS might deep six brighter wispy clouds near con trail looing one while you have it open.

Love the moodiness and the red boat Captain! Detail and color are awesome. I'm with Roman on the crop from the top, which would also un-center the horizon line.

    Hey James,
Love the cloud formation, the reflection, the colors and the water. Like how you pp the image. Very neat looking. Another vote for the crop from me too.
