    Default GBH..... from the YAK!

Had a wonderful time in the kayak tonight. This guy was very cooperative as I floated very close to him.

I am ok with the center crop in this case. Composition from a kayak is something i will need to practice

BTW.... did I mention how much I love my new kayak.... thanks Chad!

I like the composition and the bkgd. Not too thrilled about the sticks on the left. Maybe if you would have stopped peddling a little earlier (and stayed more to the left) you could have reduce the impact of the sticks.

Thanks Clemens, I thought about removing them but decided not to.

As far as moving over as I paddled, I was floating at the time so I would not disturb him.

Great capture. I really the perch and the pose. Wonderful background. I have to agree about the branches on the left, but not a big distraction. Well done.

I like this picture. I am OK with the branches, they don't bother me at all. Love his pose and the clean BG. I am glad you are enjoying your kayak. I really have to think about getting one...this photography addiction always involves spending more money!

Lovely IQ and exp. I like the BG but the branches are also a bit of a ditraction for me...Maybe changing the comp to more conventional (more space right and less left) would eliminate some of the branches...Just a thought

Lovely, and i like the comp. I like the in-focus part of the perch that shoots up (I would leave that one there), it's only the OOF one in the back that I wish wasn't there. Although I wouldn't eliminate it, I would tone down the light band the goes across the legs. Exposure and details look great.

Looks like you are enjoying the kayak...keep up the good work with it!!

    Nice job Noelle.
I agree with Daniel about leaving the IF branch. IMO it would make the re-post more interesting.

Been thinking about a yack myself. You shooting HH out of it?

Neil, you will not regret it! The birds do not seem to see you as a threat from the water. Yes shooting HH from my yak
