What an unusual shot! I really like it. Very much "in your face". The face and eyes are tack sharp. I would have loved to see more DOF but I see you were shooting at an ISo of 3200!!Amazing IQ for such a high ISO.
i also really like the upward gaze and the reflection of the eyes. A lovely image. TFS

It was shot in the forest, where is pretty dark and, to complicate things, by the time you perceive that is bending to drink, he is already up in less than a blink of an eye. Don't even think about using flash, because you will never see him again.

Very unique raptor image. The reflection adss alot - could you include more of it? I'd suggest removing the cyan cast that is present in the face area (in PS go to Hue/Saturation and desaturate the cyan channel).

I like this alot...is this a water setup? From a hide?

This image is so unique and interesting. The reflected eyes sure grab my attention. Like Daniel, I would be interested in learning more about the capture.

It was shot from a hide where a pool is placed in front. However, this is a very difficult brid to get down. He usually sits up in the trees. When he is not around, small birds bathe and make a lot of noise and you can get some interesting interactions. Last year I spent days sitting in there without success. This year, maybe due to the heat or because they were harvesting the fields around the forest, he came down and sat there for quite some time. Giulio

What a cool shot. Do you possibly have more of the reflection? I would love to see more of it. Great eye contact, behavior and look at those talons.
