What an incredible capture, Dudley! Glad you kept the dust and feathers, it helps to tell the story. Love the colors, EXP, feather detail, eye contact. Minor nits: I think I see some noise in the BG but not sure; wish I could see the feet.
Did you have any room on the right? Would like to see how it looks with some space to look into, and trim some off the left.
All in all, an awesome shot! Great title too! TFS.

    Dudley,
I absolutely love this image. The soft green Bg perfectly compliments the color of vulture. I love the flying dust and the ruffled feathers. The clump of grass to the left balances picture well and the texture of the rock really adds to this picture. I am OK with the gaze to the right. My only nit is that I wish i could see the feet but it is still a great shot,
    Gail

I like this! The action captured here is superb with that great Giants Castle background. Ditto on maybe running another noise reduction on the background. Like the detail!

    A great image!

Fantastic capture...Love the flying feathers showing the shake....I second what others said about another round of NR on BG and might like to have slightly more space on left of the bird...TFS

Very nice pose and the detail looks good. I would try run some selective NR on the BG and if you have a sliver of space below. Very nice Dudley

Dudley, I love the feathers everywhere and the ruffled up look. The image design is very nice. Sharp and well exposed. I agree w/ a sliver of space below. I like this a lot!

What an incredible image , you have managed here . Good idea not to run NR on the BG , as the flying feather / dust adds a lot to this one !!

Thank you all for your comments and recommendetions. Much appreciated, I have incorporated adjusted crop to allow more space to the right and below. Also selective NR to the B/G

Like Denise, I prefer the original comp too, now that I see this one. Might run another round of noise on the BG as long as it doesn't compromise the dust.

A wonderful detailed capture of this bird. I liked the second compo more then the first one because of the viewing angle. But overall....a great capture. Well done.
