Hi Ned sure wish I had the exp comp to see what you were doing here !!!
Might have been initially slightly under exposed and you used S/H which brought excellent detail to the underside and actually doesn't seem to have all that much noise !!!! Neat !!! Would have tried selecting the sky, inverting selection then contracting two pixels It would have prevented the halo around the bird You can see particularly along the leading wing edge.
Would also suggest having the bird a little back in the frame We normally like to have more room in front for the bird to fly into !!! Excellent !!!!
Ned, Great to see you here. I heard that I just missed you somewhere recently. How is Linda? And yes, we have some sharp folks here I would add that you might take a bit off of the bottom and add a bit of canvas to the top.
