I think this is a willet - it looks darker than the original because I used Fract. Impression and then Topaz Adjust Painting Venice. Another one with the surf in the bg. I know the ha isn't good but I thought he looked kind of sporty and coy that way I like the horizontal bands of color in the bg. I was undecided about leaving the light wave in the urc but decided I liked it better than cropping it out.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Beautiful lighting. I like the bands of subtle color in the background. I might have opted to clone the light wave in the ULC, but your call. Love the the dancing pose of the bird.

Very nice Cheryl, I like the lighting and the pose is cute! Nice combo of filters.

Cheryl, I like the light and colors a lot. Instead of cloning, I would crop from the top until the bright area in the upper left was gone. I'm not that crazy about the pose as it seems like the bird is moving away and the head merges into the neck. Do you have others in a series?

OOTB or not the Head Angle Police are going to get you on this one! I like the foot position and the high key appearance..just wish I could see the eye better...TFS

    Hey Cheryl,
Yep.....can't get over the facing away pose myself.....mostly because the bird is so vital to the comp. You may be able to tone down the ULC to match the rest.......otherwise, i would go with the crop suggested.
