Love this image Jared Very strong portrait I like the selected crop Would have liked the entire front leg visible. For these tight images always prefer to stop down for dof but I see you did not have much light.

Can increase contrast a bit with selective color Go into the neutral and black channel and add two or three points of black. Will give the image some pop. I tried it and makes a difference. Big Congrats !!!

I like the look and the image as posted. Having said that a little extra "pop" as suggested by Al would not hurt.

    Hey Jared,
Real cool eye contact. My only nit is to see if you can selectively sharpen the eyes a little more.

Good portrait photo Jared, I would have like to see a bit more room left and on top here, and also the posted Jpeg could use a bit a sharpening around the eyes.

Agree about a little more room on the left. Other wise, a beautiful portrait . Really like the colors.

I like the composition and depth of field in this image. I have done a lot of wolf portraits and know how difficult it is to get pleasing compositions. I love the subtle colors and even lighting. Nicely captured image!
