    Playing around with silver efex and Fractilius and mask...I liked the look of this
    Nikon D-300
    Tamron 90 mm Macro
    1/250 sec at f7.1
    ISO 800

    Bob, this is very interesting. I like the b&w and the fractalius. I especially like the non-conforming petal on the left The only thing I'm not real keen on is the stem but I'm not sure why - it seems kind of fat for the seed head if that makes sense.

    Very original. Black and white frac. Love that stray flower part on the left. I might darken the brighter part of the stem, almost to the point of a shadow.

    Bob, I like it too. The B&W is a great choice and this has a unique look to it. I think that darkening the stem sounds like a good idea but I like this one either way!

    Nice work Bob - great looking b&w and the fract work is wonderful. I especially like the range of light and the combination of softness and detail. Well done!

    Makes a very nice b&w, good subject... I like the frac conversion as well. I may just tone down the bright spots at 5:00 and 8:00 on the dandelion. TFS

    Hey Bob,
    I'm with Nick on this one......just tone down some of the brightest areas (and the suggested stem tweak).....and this one will shine! You have gotten a very cool overall look with the combo of filters!
