    It is not always easy to get both eyes looking at you with grizzly bears. This guy gave us plenty of good chances.

    Like the angle of the crop. Nice detail in the bear and nice catch lights in the eyes.

    Lack of eye contact usually means lack of interest and that's not always a bad thing with grizzlies :) Nice work getting the eye contact and being able to see those big claws.

    What was the shutter speed Jess?

    I like the angle and the colors and fur textures look lovely...For my taste I would selectively sharpen the Grizzly

    Nice pose and eye contact. I like the comp with the diagonal line of the bear coming from the URC.

    Interesting angle towards the subject here Jess. Not sure if it works for me personally...Was the bear on an incline/hillside? Just trying to get behind the reasoning for shooting this strong diagonal angle?
