    Love the way he's looking directly at you in such an alert pose in all his velvet. The vertical works really well.

    I think it is a beautifully composed head study. Love the way the antlers and the body make up 3 points of the rectangle and the central position of the head. Nice alert look on the deer. Would prefer the shadow to be less prominent, but this ticks lots of boxes for me.

    Great portrait. Love to see the textures on the antler's. Lovely IQ and really pops from the BG. I would maybe take a sliver off the top....Very nice image!

    The velvet, the eyes and the texture of the hair on the throat against the OOF shades of green in the bkgd really put together a awesome portrait of a very handsome boy! I agree with cropping a bit off the top.
