    Default Double Does

Taken around 8pm with smoke filtered skies from forest fires burning elsewhere in the state. I liked getting them with the mirrored poses and on the relatively same plane. Also liked the wildflowers we had at the time. Shadows are a little harsh but reflect the time it was taken for me. 40D, 500/4 + 1.4xTCII, f6.3, 1/500s, ISO 400, cropped a touch from edges.

Sweet light and poses here Steve. I like the shadows as indicative of the fall of light, and besides that I tend to like my contrast more than most .
The DOF and 3D-factor here are super.

Love this Steve. the golden light, the alert poses and the dof. I agree with Morkel, the fall of light gives strong shadows which add to the depth and interest of the image.

Great juxtaposition of the opposing mirrored poses. Interesting but unimposing FG and BG really set them off.

Very nice image Steve. Shadow is not a deal breaker. Lot of interesting elements in this image.

Love the light and the warm colors throughout the image.

    Hi Steve
Lovely alert pose... I might just lighten the bucks up a bit just to make them pop from BKG...

Steve - nicely done. Good dof and they are set off well from the bg. Shadows don't bother me.

    Rachel
