    Default Fishing Boat

I captured this fishing boat at Nickerson Beach. I added the Fractalius glow 100 filter to it. I've captured some fishing boats coming and going out of the Barnegat Jetty but never at Nickerson beach from the shoreline. I left a bit more than usual to the bottom for the sake of the theme.

Really enjoy the look of the boat and the foreground waves. Not sure about the transition at the horizon, I would be tempted to at least look at a version without the glow. Seems to be a fun filter to work with, but I'm on a Mac, maybe sometime.

    Electrifying image, Denise!

I might have taken a little off the top, as the sky is non descript. But ... Y I Y V!!

Thanks Fred and Mark. Mark, I agree I just didn't want the horizon in the center. I still may take a sliver off.

Simple, clean and elegant. Nice image! I probably would have ruined it by adding some detail to the sky. Sometimes simple is best.

Denise, I really like what you have done here with the frac effect. Love the 'star light' glow, especially in the ocean. Great work.

Wow! The masts/booms on the boat and just the right amount of glow on the dark blue ocean surface is mesmerizing. Composition is perfect, and I agree that the sky is best left without details. Excellent image.

It is outstanding, Denise. I like the how the fishing boat is tilted a bit is dark blue waves. The fract effect really takes it over the top. Amazing mood!!

The glow works great on these fishing boats. I might like this one as much as you Night Bandit picture that I love.
