    Default Mini-world

I was going to enter this before but decided on the Lotusworld image instead. I couldn't locate the tutorial for mini-worlds so I just winged it so it's probably not done right. I flipped it since the sides didn't match. This was made from a sunset panorama image that I had used Pixel Bender on.

Wow Judy, I don't have much as far as a critique other than saying I could sit and look at this for hours! The eye is certainly drawn to the middle, but the circle moves me around the image to take it all in. Need I say, I really enjoy the image. A great one for the wall.

Looks like a Geode I have yet to find in one of our moving boxes!!

Nice image and application ... and although you don't know what it is, that is a mini-world. Any subject shown that way would qualify. Some better than others, but you did well with this one!

Thanks Fred, Mark and Denise! I still hope to make or locate a really good image for a mini-world like I've seen others do such as a city scape. They are really cool! I just googled mini world tutorial and it brought up the one on this site! Now I know what I forgot; to flip it 180 degrees. Then I looked at another tutorial online and it said to work on the image to make the sides match which might not be too easy but I might try it later on another image.

The thumbnail reminded me of the "shroud of turin", and no I am at work, so no alcohol. I see a face in there, colors are really nice....well done.

Sometimes winging it, gets you better results than following a turorial.

Thanks Nick and Paul. Yes I thought it looked kinda like a face too. I like this one oriented as it is with the peach colored rays on top.

Judy, I really like this - there's definitely some faces in there I especially like the tree line and then the water around the edge. Nicely done.

Wow! Excellent work, Judy! I love the colors, and the sky pattern just draws you right in. I almost always flip my mini-worlds because then I don't have to worry about trying to make the edges match.
