First post on BPN for a quite a number of weeks - I've been away.

This image is of a rather tame Female Hooded Robin that was just around the homestead that we were staying at - no set up but just sitting with tripod and camera in dirt while these guys just jumped around us. 7d, 500mm, tripod, 1/320 @ 5.6, ISO 400, EV+2/3.

I learnt the importance of doing a trip with a backup body - my one and only body the 7d started to play up with error 30 meassages towards the end of the trip - lucky not the start. Canon serviced it and seemed to have fixed the problem.

    Thanks Tom

Beautiful peach BKG, nice exposure and turn back look.

Tom, good DOF, sharp, and I like the slight look back pose. I do like the colour of the BG, but would maybe just tone it down a touch. Glad you got sorted with your camera.
