    Default Black Billed Plover

Light was a bit still a little hard when I went out to take some shore bird pictures and I saw this little fellow. Since this was the first time I photographer this bird I am happy for the shot. Comments are welcome.

I love the perfect field guide pose as is. The bird is a very, very worn adult Black-bellied Plover; not that many of the feathers are worn to the shaft. The image is sharp and the light is on the soft side despite the high position of the sun in the sky. You must have had a high cloud.

Good low angle Lorant, and I find the pose and HA spot on. The plover is nice and sharp, with a good complimentary BG.

    Nice image Lorant!

I really like the BG especially the water and sand particles underneath him.

    Congrats on your first!
