    This is fantastic capture...love the exposure and details..the pose is brilliant and ripples on water make it very interesting...TFS

    Amazing action, exposure and details.
    A looser crop would have worked imo, but this highlights the details nicely.
    If I may ask, what did NIK do for this image?

    The original has the subject a bit smaller in the frame, cropped slightly for detail as posted.
    NIK Tonal Contrast filter, selectively applied with brush.

    I have heard great reviews of the NIK filter. Ought to give it a try some day.

    Great landing pose with amazing sharp details as well as a good look at those talons.. I do wish for more foreground room to land into and more of the reflection though.

    I call these the DAD shots in Homer, a dime a dozen. None-the-less this is extremely well done. Love teh pre-strike pose and the sharpness.
