Hi Eddy I get envious with all these resting on the sofa images !!!! ...... don't want to say what I could get resting from the sofa !!!!!

I like the bird and pose Might consider working the bird lower and left a bit Not much you can do about the bg but it does distract form image Heavy blurring would probably look unnatural Like the eye contact and alert pose.

Would try setting something up so the birds land and you get a killer bg !!! Shouldn't be difficult to set !!!!

It can be tough sometimes getting the bg in the clear but you captured a nice looking pose from this beauty Nice Shot!!!

The pose and especially the sharp detail are wonderful. Great colors as well.....and an "orange" version of the house finch. Now get off that sofa, get out there, set up some good perches.....then you can go back to "couch photography"!!!
