    The images is from Norway. Data: Canono 30D , 300mmL F4,0 +1,4 converter , 1/1000 , F 11 , ISO 200. Date : 17/3 - 2007.

    Geir, interesting image. I liked the composition with the gull and the splashing wave.

    A better wing position would have been nice but chances of that and the full wave splash are slim. But still, I think a better wing position but with smaller spalsh will work better. My guess is the bird was gliding and hence you dont have a better wing position.

    The image needs to be a bit brighter and if mine, I'd take tad off the right side.

    I agree with KD on wishing for a better wing position; in full sun the best is usually wings full up as that avoids all shadows. I'd crop from the top rather than from our right.

    And yes, the wave is way cool.
