    Danny,

Superb image, and I like the B&W choice. I do find the image a bit lacking in contrast as presented.

Thanks Charles for looking and commenting. I did try the image with more contrast but felt it didn't work as I felt there was enough contrast on the Zebra's already. But I still appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Dumay - I like the comp, a tender moment. I also like the b&w treatment. I often find contrast is a personal choice. Something seems a little strange though and I'm wondering if you did some selective s/h or other processing. There's the one bright spot on the adult's neck and then the adult's nose also looks two-toned (which it may have been). I may be off base with these nits it just doesn't seem like the isolated spot on the neck should be in the sun based on the sun angle and the rest of the image.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Nice moment bud, and good choice to go B&W for my tastes...though I think Chas's repost has more 'oomph' with the whites being brighter and the blacks just a tad darker

Rachel, well spotted ito that bright patch on the neck. I think I have it figured out (Dumay, chime in if I'm wrong ): Given the direction of light it seems that the entire neck should have been brightly lit, but the adult's face/snout is casting a shadow on part of the neck.

Love the comp and mood here Dumay, with Chas's contrast boost doing it justice for mine.

OK, OK Charles, yours does look much better...Thanks for that!

Rachel thank you for pointing it out but Morkel is spot on about the shadow of the head and snout.

the b&w for this shoot is perfect. I like black more ...black to give more intensity to the situation..
    Well done!

Dumay, I really love the poses and the B&W was a great choice, Chas's repost makes an already wonderful image shine.

Great tandem pose by these two and nicely composed by you to capture it. I like the tree in the BG, it provides a nice backdrop.

Well seen & capture Dumay, excellent choice in terms of medium used, Chas repost just gives it that pop factor.
