Did somebody say color? Mark, you're an inspiration. Lots of Topaz filters, like DeNoise, Detail, Adjust. Some minor color tweaks and Nik CFx pro. Original was captured on a Canon PowerShot A530 point-and-shoot.

Very, very colourful! But underneath all that vibrance is a really nice composition, intrigues me to know what the original was like, what sort of tree it is and how many ridges of hills are in the distance. But that isn't OOTB thinking to ask such mundane questions!!

Kerry, It looks a bit like pop art. Neat! Nice composition and it fits the theme perfectly.

Those are some blazing colors! Works for me as I like the different layers of colors and the shapes. Were any subtances used in creating this?

Thanks everyone! Here is the "original", which is to say a more accurate version of the original. It has heavy processing as it started life as a 1600x1200 image and has been cropped for composition.

Roman, there may have been a substance or two involved. I don't remember...

Hey Kerry, this is very cool, love the colors and the effect you have achieved here. Just love the blue among the branches.

I love the colors and bang of your creation. The only thing that bugs me is the merge of the bottom left of the tree with the horizon. The basics always apply no matter how out of the box the treatment. But those colors really rock. n
