I am a semi-retired CPA and am totally taken with Avian photography. I have enjoyed photography for years, but only in the last 2 years have I had the time and devoted my time and money to photography. I have a cabin in the mountains of Virginia, which contributes quite a bit to my portfolio and where I have the time to work in Lightroom and Photoshop.
I use Canon equipment. My cameras are a 7D and a 5D MKII. I have a 100-400, 500mm f4, 200mm 2.8 and a 24-105. I use a Model 057 Tripod and a Manfrotto 393 "head". I look forward to contributing to the forum and am sure I will take more than give.
Welcome Horace!!! You found the right place for Avain photography but don't forget to drop by and visit the other forums. BTW......best way to learn is post images and critique!!! This will help you see things in the field faster and correct possible mistakes!!! Welcome again!!!
