    This one was obviously proud of himself, head aloof, chest out, waiting for one of the parents to arrive back with a meal.

    Very nice details Steve!!! He does have that chest puffed out! Works very well for me and nice job keeping hte BG in check!

    You are so right.. What a proud pose he had there.. I find it so tough to crop a bird for a portrait shot.. they always seem so cut off to me.. I think you did a great job on this one.

    This is wonderful capture...plenty of details and Chad is right about how tough it is to get crop correct for bird portraits..
